The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's world premiere adaptation of A Doll's House, Henrik Ibsen's masterful exploration of society, money, gender roles and marriage. Translated and adapted by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and adapted and directed by Kirsten Brandt, A Doll's House will run March 23 - April 21, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 23 - March 27. The Tokens are the doo-wop-style vocal group from Brooklyn, New York that is known best for it's chart-soaring #1 single, 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' The Tokens members Mitch Margo, Phil Margo and Noah Margo have penned a new musical comedy titled, "Oh, My Goddess." The New York City reading will be presented Friday, October 26th.

The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

The Bay Area premiere of San Jose Rep's God of Carnage begins previews tonight. This winner of the 2009 Tony Award® for Best Play was written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton. The production runs from March 22 to April 15, 2012, with Opening Night on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 pm.
