Princeton Ballet School to Host 2nd Annual Fashion Show, 6/12

On Friday, June 12, 2015 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, NJ, Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, will host its second annual fashion show: 'Turn Out for Fashion.' All proceeds of this event will support the Princeton Ballet School Scholarship Fund. Before the Fashion Show, on May 2, American Repertory Ballet will participate in Lord & Taylor's 'Charity Day: Shop Smart Do Good,' supporting Women's Health in our community.

American Repertory Ballet (ARB) Artistic Director Douglas Martin will premiere his new full-length ballet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, on February 26 and 27, 2015 at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ. The ballet will feature the beloved score by Mendelssohn, performed live by Rutgers Symphony Orchestra. ARB will also bring this new ballet to the Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem, PA on March 6. In anticipation of these performances, today January 16, ARB will host 'Behind the Music: A Midsummer Night's Dream,' a free lecture featuring guest and music scholar Simon Morrison.

RAHWAY, NJ - On October 17, 2014 at 8:00pm, American Repertory Ballet will present A Midsummer Night's Dream Preview Performance at Union County PAC's Hamilton Stage. This Thursday, August 21, 2014, Princeton Ballet School will host a special workshop led by notable alumna and Fulbright Scholar Casey Lee Thorne. Thorne graduated from Princeton Ballet School's Professional Training Program and is Founder and Artistic Director of Inside Out Contemporary Ballet (IOCB), a professional dance company based in Marin, California. She will lead a contemporary dance workshop for advanced dancers at Princeton Ballet School's studios in Princeton, NJ on August 21, 2014 from 11:45 am until 1:15 pm. The workshop is part of Thorne's choreographic project If I Were You - Project Israel, for which she recently received a Fulbright Scholarship.
