ARB presents world premier of Mary Barton's work in MASTERS OF DANCE AND MUSIC!

 American Repertory Ballet will present Masters of Dance & Music on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 8 p.m. at McCarter Theatre in downtown Princeton, N.J. The program will feature the world premiere of Mary Barton's A Shepherd Singing (And I Still Heard Nothing), modern dance pioneer Jose Limon's There is a Time and Kirk Peterson's Glazunov Variations. Music for Mary Barton's world premiere - Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 - will be performed live by the Princeton University Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Michael Pratt.

American Repertory Ballet is pleased to announce Spring Into Dance, part of its 2016 spring series, at Union County Performing Arts Center's Hamilton Stage on Friday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. Led by Artistic Director Douglas Martin, ARB will once again present the finest ballet available to the residents of New Jersey and beyond. American Repertory Ballet (ARB) will open its annual Nutcracker season at Union County Performing Arts Center's main stage in Rahway on Saturday, November 21 at 2 p.m., with the company's first-ever "Sensory Friendly" performances on Sunday, November 22 at 2 p.m.

In its on-going effort to share the joy of dance with a wider audience, the 2015 Summer Intensive Program at American Repertory Ballet's Princeton Ballet School is pleased to announce that its Master Classes will be open to observers. Leading Master Classes will be Broadway dancer Michael Mindlin, New York City Ballet dancer Unity Phelan, and Sarah Hay, a soloist with Semperoper Dresden Ballet. All three received their early training at Princeton Ballet School.

On Monday, June 29, ballet students from around the world started their first day of training at Princeton Ballet School, the official school of NJ's premiere professional ballet company American Repertory Ballet, at the school's studios in the Princeton Shopping Center. This is Princeton Ballet School's 33rd year of offering their Summer Intensive course, making it one of the oldest programs in the United States.

July 1 through July 31, American Repertory Ballet will be celebrating 'Nutcracker in July,' offering discounted tickets for Nutcracker performances at Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway and McCarter Theatre in Princeton. Additionally, ARB is celebrating the July kick-off of ticket sales for this holiday classic with community partners in downtown Princeton, who will be involved in ARB's social media contest. The contest winner will receive 4 complimentary tickets to Nutcracker at McCarter Theatre.

Today, June 12, 2015 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, NJ, Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, will host its second annual fashion show: 'Turn Out for Fashion.'

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced the faculty for its American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School that begins its full 36-week school year on September 14, 2015 and runs through June 11, 2016. The Center has added classes to accommodate the growing enrollment.
