Yesterday, May 23, more than 2,500 employees, friends and benefactors of New York Hospital Queens celebrated the extraordinary contributions of entrepreneur Eugene M. Lang, who created diverse manufacturing enterprises, participated in trade and economic policy missions for the U.S. and is nationally heralded for his philanthropic endeavors in education and health care. New York Hospital Queens honored him for his longstanding service and support of the hospital.

Ghostlight Records has confirmed a September 21st release date for their Original Cast Recording of The Public Theater's Production of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival (HSF) returns to The ARTS at Marks Garage in the heart of the downtown arts district to celebrate its eighth season with 'Richard II,' opening July 10; 'Pericles,' opening July 24; and 'Merry Wives of Windsor,' opening August 14. Each play runs two weekends.

Saeko Ichinohe Dance Company will have a 38th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 29, 2007 at 7:30 & Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 pm at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (The Joan Weill Center for Dance), 405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue. The program will include five pieces including two World premieres and a revival of a Ruth St. Denis piece. Saeko Ichinohe dedicates the performances to her mentor, Antony Tudor in his centennial year.
