The Marsh San Francisco is thrilled to present world-renowned cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, a 20-year member of the Kronos Quartet, and award-winning performer/writer Charlie Varon in a collaborative theatre piece entitled SECOND TIME AROUND, A Duet for Cello and Storyteller. The iPhone generation meets the Greatest Generation in this story of the longing for human connection and continuity. SECOND TIME AROUND, developed with and directed by David Ford, plays tonight, March 5, through April 17, 2016 (press opening March 19, 2016). Scroll down for a sneak peek at the stars!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Nicolas Dromard (MARY POPPINS, THE BOY FROM OZ) will join the cast of JERSEY BOYS later this month. Dromard will play Tommy DeVito (which he previously played in the 1st national tour), temporarily taking over for Richard H. Blake. He joins the company on December 21.

Lambda Literary is pleased to announce that John Waters will receive Lambda's Trustee Award for Excellence in Literature an Rita Mae Brown will receive the Pioneer Award at the 27th Annual Lambda Literary Awards ('Lammys'). Waters and Brown will be honored along with the winning authors of 24 separate LGBT literary categories as determined by over 90 judges. The Lammys bring together over 450 attendees, sponsors and celebrities to celebrate excellence in LGBT literature, making it the most glamorous and prestigious LGBT literary event in the world. The awards will be hosted for the fourth year in a row by comedienne Kate Clinton on Monday, June 1st in New York City at The Great Hall at Cooper Union (7 East 7th St @ 3rd Ave, New York City) with a pre-ceremony reception presented by Penguin Random House. A VIP After-Party presented by Scholastic will immediately follow the ceremony.

The University of Southern Maine (USM) Department of Theatre will present An Evening with Christopher Durang: 'For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls' and 'Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You,' directed by William Steele, USM professor of theatre, tonight, Feb. 6-14, at the Portland Stage Studio Theater.
