PTP/NYC's 27th anniversary season opened on July 10 at The Atlantic Stage 2. The opening night party guests included five-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Jan Maxwell, Kristine Nielsen (Broadway: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Jennifer Van Dyck (Broadway: Hedda Gabler, Dancing at Lughnasa and Two Shakespearean Actors), Quentin Mare (Broadway: Rock 'n' Roll, Coram Boy, Julius Caesar) and Stephanie Janssen (Broadway: Mrs. Warren's Profession). ABTKids, a unique hour-long program designed for children and families, will present a performance of highlights from the Company's 2013 Spring Season today, June 1 at 11:30 AM at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Helpmann nominated performer Trevor Ashley, known most recently for his performance as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, channels the superb talents of cabaret's most idiosyncratic superstar, Liza Minnelli, in the charismatic hit drag show Liza (On an E) in the De Parel Spiegeltent from 10 to 16 February, 2013.

An imaginative multimedia concert, Tafelmusik's House of Dreams takes the audience on a journey through five homes in five European cities where, in the 17th and 18th centuries, exquisite works by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, and Marais were performed in intimate settings against a backdrop of private collections of paintings by Vermeer, Canaletto, and Watteau. With narration, projected images of the paintings and homes, and music dynamically performed from memory, House of Dreams recreates the concert experience at the intersection of Baroque music and art.
