On Sunday, August 26th, Theatre, Film and TV stars for Broadway Blue Wave For New York, a musical political concert of songs and speeches, illuminating how vital the upcoming September 13th Primary is to resisting the current administration in the White House. The evening, directed by Tony nominee Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), music directed by Drama Desk winner Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Mean Girls), and written by Harris Doran (Beauty Mark), will feature music and political insight to inspire New Yorkers to resist with the best tool they have: their VOTE.

On Monday, June 18, 2018, the theater world and New York communities will come together for Broadway Sings for Pride's 8th annual charity concert entitled "Revolution"!  Hair co-creator James Rado (Grammy-Award Winner) and Hair original choreographer Julie Arenal (Broadway/West End) will join over 35 tribe members to celebrate Pride with a special Hair reunion musical performance during the event.

Harris Doran's award-winning film Beauty Mark, starring Laura Bell Bundy, has been released by The Orchard and is available nationwide On Digital and On Demand. The film, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, where lead actress Auden Thornton won a special jury prize for "Breakout Performance," can be seen on all platforms. This powerful film also stars Catherine Curtin (Love Janis, Orange Is The New Black), Deirdre Lovejoy (Lucky Guy, The Wire), Jeff Kober (Sons of Anarchy), Ben Curtis ('The Dell Dude'), and Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle).

On Saturday, October 14, the 18th annual Woodstock Film Festival Maverick Awards Ceremony took place at Backstage Studio Productions in Kingston, NY. More than 500 filmmakers, film industry members, community leaders, and audience members attended the event held in the heart of Kingston's Uptown Historic District.

On Sunday, March 13th at 4pm, Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) presented the youth premiere of the new symphonic version of Children of Eden by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin and The Prince of Egypt). Schwartz himself worked as a guest mentor with the YAA high school-aged students. The cast, full symphonic orchestra, and chorus will include over 350 youth from all over the DC Metro area including 250 younger artists from North Bethesda Middle School. The performance took place at The Music Center at Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Ln, North Bethesda, MD).

Sondheim Unplugged, New York's long running hit revue, will celebrate the 50th installment of the series with two very special gala performances on Sunday, December 27th at 7pm and 9:30pm at Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th St., Cellar, NYC).
