The most anticipated premiere during this theatrical season is 'Shakespeare in Love' presented by Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre. Lee Hall's stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning film will take place on the main stage of Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre on May 11 and 12, 2018.

Following the successful screenings of The Winter's Tale, Measure for Measure and Ubu Roi, Cheek by Jowl today announce the screening of their latest production, P ricl s, Prince de Tyr live from the Barbican Centre on 19 April at 7.30pm. The production will open at the Barbican on 9 April, with previews from 6 April, and runs until 21 April ahead of performances at the Oxford Playhouse from 24 28 April.

After nearly 20 years leading the internationally focused Lincoln Center Festival, Director Nigel Redden announced today that the 2017 Festival will be his last. He will step down in September to concentrate on the artistic expansion of the annual Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina, where he serves as general director, as well as other global artistic projects.

As previously announced, National Theatre Live will broadcast ANGELS IN AMERICA, Tony Kushner's multi-award-winning two-part play, this summer. Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for their next Revelation Reading on Monday May 1st (7:30pm) at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street): the New York Premiere of Nikolai Erdman's The Mandate in a new version by Declan Donnellan (Cheek-by-Jowl), directed by Ethan McSweeny.

Declan Donnellan is the co-Artistic Director of Cheek By Jowl. He's helmed over 30 productions for the company, touring to nearly 400 cities across six continents, and has also directed productions for the National Theatre, the RSC, the Avignon, and the Edinburgh and Salzburg Festivals, as well as opera, dance and film. Cheek By Jowl's The Winter's Tale is currently on the UK leg of a major international tour.
