Arthur Darvill's work ranges from TV shows like Doctor Who, Broadchurch and Legends of Tomorrow to starring in Once in the West End and on Broadway, as well as composing music for projects like the recent stage adaption of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox. This Sunday, he and Samantha Barks lead the UK premiere of Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas, in a special concert presentation with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra.

Actor and musician Declan Bennett has successfully maintained dual, often intersecting careers as a singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer. He's had chart hits both with band Point Break and as a solo artist, and has tackled several iconic roles, including Roger in a US tour and Broadway run of Rent, Guy in the UK premiere of Once, and now Jesus in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar. This new production at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre celebrates 45 years since the show first opened, and the intimate, gig-like experience - with performers playing instruments - promises to be very different to the recent arena tour.

Paradise Glen Productions announced today they will present A Balkan American Musical Celebration at the East Village music venue DROM on Monday, February 22 from 6-9pm. A dynamic fusion of Balkan and American jazz & blues, mixed with traditional Sevdah-style Bosniak singing, this one-night only musical event features performances by Olivier Award-winning Croatian actress Zrinka Cvitesic, acclaimed jazz vocalist Sasha Dobson, noted jazz pianist & composer Frank Owens and gypsy punk rockers Bad Buka, and emceed by actor Tony Naumovski.

Today (29 August 2014), the producers of Once announce that Jill Winternitz will be continuing in the role of Girl opposite the previously announced Ronan Keating as Guy. Keating will be joining the Olivier award-winning musical on 17 November 2014, with press night on Tuesday 25 November 2014. Once is currently booking at the Phoenix Theatre to 4 July 2015.

The winners of the 38th Olivier Awards with MasterCard, the most prestigious event in the UK theatrical calendar, were announced tonight (Sunday 13 April 2014) in front of a packed audience at a glamorous ceremony at London's Royal Opera House hosted by Stephen Mangan and Gemma Arterton.

It's the biggest night in the West End theatre calendar - the great and the good are gathered in Covent Garden to celebrate the best stage work of the last year. Nominees are Charlotte Wakefield (The Sound of Music), Jenna Russell (Merrily We Roll Along), Rosalie Craig (The Light Princess), and Zrinka Cvitesic (Once).

Last night (17 March 20134) the six-time Olivier award nominated musical Once celebrated its first birthday in the West End, joining forces with the charity Oxfam specifically fundraising for their Mother Appeal. Also celebrating St Patrick's Day, the production welcomed their new cast led by Arthur Darvill, who joins the London production having played the role on Broadway. The eight time Tony award-winning musical Once is currently booking at the Phoenix Theatre to 31 May 2014. With a cast led by Declan Bennett and Zrinka Cviteši? as Guy and Girl respectively, John Tiffany's West End production of the hit musical opened at the Phoenix Theatre in April this year where it has been acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. At each performance, live on stage, the Company play 10 CF Martin guitars, 2 violins, 1 melodica, 1 cello, 2 mandolins, 1 ukelele, 1 bass guitar, 1 banjo, 2 cajon's, 1 drum kit, 1 piano, 1 harmonica and 1 concertina and on the West End's only on stage bar, audience members can join the cast for the start of the show and at the interval. Following an exciting two week voting period it has been announced that Croatian born Zrinka Cviteši? has won the West End Frame Award for 'Best West End Debut' for making her West End debut as 'Girl' in Once at the Phoenix Theatre.
