Terry Johnson’s new play,The Sex Party, has many ingredients for success; an intriguing idea, an excellent cast and a beautiful set, but is let down with a sledgehammer script and meandering message that goes nowhere. There’s a lot happening at once, but the entire play is as shallow as a puddle.
The Menier Chocolate Factory is presenting the world première of Terry Johnson's The Sex Party. Four couples gather in a suburban London home for an evening of wine, cheese, and more intimate pleasures. Some are curious, some are more familiar, and one is rather unexpected. A spine chilling ghost story – When Darkness Falls – heads to Theatre Royal Winchester from Thursday 16 September to Saturday 18 September.
All new production images have been released for the spine-chilling ghost story, WHEN DARKNESS FALLS, which began previews on 18 August at Park Theatre, London and officially opens on Monday 23 August. It is playing at the Park Theatre until 4 September, before going on tour.

All new rehearsal images have been releaesd for the spine-chilling ghost story, WHEN DARKNESS FALLS, opening at the Park Theatre, London from 18 August playing through to 4 September with a press night on 23 August 2021, before going on tour.
The London run will then tour to Theatre Royal Winchester, MAST Mayflower Studios in Southampton and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4 January 2021 of a new national lockdown until at least the middle of February, Park Theatre and the producers of the new spine-chilling ghost story, WHEN DARKNESS FALLS, which was due to play a limited season from 24 February to 13 March 2021 at Park Theatre in London, have taken the difficult decision to postpone the run.
Park Theatre has plans to re-open its doors in the New Year, with socially distanced shows in both auditoria: a revival of comedy thriller CORPSE! in Park90 from Thursday 7 – Saturday 30 January.

Following the sold-out run at Park Theatre, London, full casting has been announced for the first national tour of The Last Temptation of Boris Johnson, the new political comedy from journalist, broadcaster and playwright Jonathan Maitland (An Audience with Jimmy Savile, Dead Sheep). Directed by Dugald Bruce-Lockheart, the tour will begin at Festival Theatre, Malvern on 22 January 2020.
