The Active Theater announced today that it will award The Active Arts Award to Terry Schreiber, who founded T. Schreiber Studio in 1969, at its 2013 Spring Benefit on April 22, 2013 at 2nd Floor on Clinton (67 Clinton Street, between Rivington and Stanton).

The Musical Theater Program at Pace University is currently accepting submissions of new musical theater works for a series of performances at Pace University in January 2011. Last year's musical was QUANAH written by Larry Gatlin and Tony Dodge.

Last night, May 23, the Drama Desk Association hosted the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone hosted the ceremony, which honored the best of Broadway and off in the 2009-2010 season. BroadwayWorld.com provided live coverage on the site throughout the ceremony and was on hand at the event to capture the starry arrivals.
