Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing added performances to close out their 51st summer season at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, New York. On Wednesday, September 6, Colin Barkell and his band “King Vaudeville” will perform in two concerts at 2:00P and 7:30P, and on Thursday, September 14, Todd Meredith with special guest Kyle Lacy will perform two acoustic concerts at 2:00P and 7:30P.

Cortland Repertory Theatre is now entertaining audiences at the picturesque Little York Pavilion in Preble, New York with the highly entertaining Tony-nominated jukebox musical Million Dollar Quartet. Featuring the classic tunes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins, Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux's (book) musical is inspired by the night when Elvis Presley (Noah Jermain), Johnny Cash (Colin Barkell), Jerry Lee Lewis (Gavin Rohrer), and Carl Perkins (Todd Meredith) made history with their legendary jam and recording session on December 4, 1956 at the famous Sun Records studio in Memphis. Narrator Sam Phillips (Bobby Becher), founder of Sun Records and legendary producer, recalls that historic and magical evening when these musicians jammed out to their hits and he had a 'Million Dollar Quartet' on his hands for their only performance in the one-room studio.

Performances will run from August 28 – September 13 with evening show times at 7:30. On January 31, 2019 The Iridium will host a tribute show commemorating the 60th anniversary of “The Day the Music Died.” THE NIGHT THE MUSIC LIVED recreates the last concert by the rock 'n' roll legends lost in the infamous plane crash on February 3, 1959, and features Todd Meredith as Buddy Holly, John Rodriguez as Ritchie Valens, and Chuck Caruso as The Big Bopper, performing classics like 'That'll Be The Day,' 'Peggy Sue,' 'It's So Easy,' 'La Bamba,' 'Donna,' and 'Chantilly Lace.”  Rockabilly band The Rave-Ons will be also be performing as well as other special guests.

Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly were iconic and game-changing in their era, and still have influence with today's music-makers. The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will kick off its 2018 Alhambra After Dark music series schedule by celebrating Elvis and Buddy Holly. Kevin Mills will return to the Alhambra from February 7 11, 2018 with his award-winning tribute to Elvis in a new show, Elvis is Back! The Rave-Ons, led by one of Alhambra's most popular performers, Todd Meredith, will bring their rendition of Buddy Holly & The Crickets to the Alhambra from March 28 April 1, 2018 in a show entitled, That'll Be the Day. Both shows are concert-style events, and pricing for each show is $65 and includes dinner, performance and parking.
