Barrington Stage Company's 2023 season opener, Cabaret (June 18-July 8), is now on stage. The production stars Krysta Rodriguez (NBC's 'Smash,' Broadway's Into the Woods revival, The Collaboration, Deaf West Theatre's Spring Awakening) as Sally Bowles, BSC Associate Artist Alysha Umphress (BSC's Who Could Ask for Anything More?, Mr. Saturday Night, Broadway's On the Town, American Idiot) as Fraulein Kost, and Richard Kline ('Three's Company,' Don't Think Twice, Broadway's Waitress, Wicked First National Tour) as Herr Schultz.

Barrington Stage Company has revealed a behind the scenes look at its new production of the legendary Kander & Ebb musical Cabaret, running June 14-July 8. Picture a once-grand German deco musical palace, now a symbol of resilience in disrepair, jutting out into the audience. Raw, dirty, visceral — the music promises to leave you breathless. Barrington Stage Company has announced full casting for the world premiere of Mark St. Germain's new play The Happiest Man on Earth (May 24-June 17) and a new production of the legendary Kander & Ebb musical Cabaret (June 14-July 8).

A concert version of a new original musical about Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Fitzgeralds of St. Paul, will be presented a Joe's Pub on Monday, August 26 at 7:00 pm, it was announced today. With music, lyrics and book by Christie Baugher, this industry presentation, which is also open to the public, is directed by Danny Mefford (choreographer of the Tony Award-winning musicals Dear Evan Hansen and Fun Home), with musical direction by Matt Castle; Ken Barnett (a?oeMozart in the Junglea??) and Tiffany Topol (Once) star in the title roles.

Join members of the Broadway community for an inspiring evening of heart-centered music and musings honoring the fearless Maggie Hollinbeck (ONCE TOUR). Ticket proceeds will go directly to Ms. Hollinbeck, a two-time breast cancer survivor, to offset her recent medical costs and assist on her valiant road to recovery. The event will be on Monday, May 13 at The Triad at 7PM (doors open at 6:30PM). The Triad is located at 158 W. 72nd Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus on the Upper West Side. Based on the original Hans Christian Andersen version (Not the Disney Movie), this adaptation of The Little Mermaid was written by 16-year-old Geneva Foster-Narvaez, a student at the Harlem School of the Arts. Geneva has been writing, she says, ever since she can remember and has loved the story of The Little Mermaid since she first saw the movie.

The nominations have been announced for the 2018 Equity Joseph Jefferson ('Jeff') Awards.
