New York City's oldest and longest producing LGBTQIA+ theater company TOSOS (Artistic Director Mark Finley) has announced the launch of their 50th Anniversary Season, including two full productions, an expansive reading series, annual gala, and several impactful events activated to celebrate the community.

Toby’s Dinner And Show in Columbia, MD, presents Meredith Wilson’s Miracle On 34th Street, the Musical through January 7th, 2024, and it’s a fun holiday outing that gives the feel of New York City in December. Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play is a captivating journey back in time, immersing the audience in the ambiance of a bygone era. The production ingeniously unfolds as a live radio broadcast, with a skilled ensemble and a meticulous foley artist weaving each sound effect into the intricate auditory tapestry.

It's 1947, and a group of America's best and brightest entertainers have joined forces to present a radio production of the beloved holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street. This classic story is presented in a radio format before a live studio audience and stars the voice talents of Larry Alexander, Jonathan Harrison, Joe D. Lauck, Michael Raabe, Julia Rifino, Hillary Scales-Lewis and Mya Simpkins (freeFall debut).

When Johnnie & Friends can't find a last-minute replacement to play Santa Claus in their annual holiday show, it seems like their brand-new production is sunk. So, when the kindly doorman at The Triad agrees to step in and play St. Nick, Johnnie hires him on the spot. There's only one problem: this new friend seems to think he actually is Father Christmas and Johnnie stopped believing in Santa decades ago.

Based on the beloved classic movie, Meredith Willson’s Miracle on 34th Street is a timeless tale for audiences of all ages. Join the cast and crew at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for the story of six-year-old Susan Walker and Kris Kringle November 11-December 23.

While its audiences were unable to enjoy its 40th anniversary this past summer due to the pandemic, Moonlight Stage Productions is bringing its brand of musical theatre direct to people's homes this holiday season. Starting December 10, an audio streaming production of “Miracle on 34th Street: A Musical Radio Play” will be available to download for a tax-deductible donation of $25.

While live theater may be closed, The Chain Theatre has found a way to bring the Holiday Spirit into everyone's homes by producing Miracle on 34th Street, Radio Play! Adapted and directed by Greg Cicchino, Miracle on 34th Street, streams December 18, 19, 20 and 21.

It’s that time of year again, a time when we gather at our local theatres to see our favorite stories come to life on the stage. While Covid may have impacted if and how we attend productions, Des Moines Playhouse is allowing us to see a show either in person or virtually with their holiday family classic, “Playhouse “On The Air” Presents: Miracle on 34th Street.” This production opened on December 4 and is now available to see in person or online.

For those not ready to return inside the theatre building, The Playhouse is offering a livestream of opening night, Dec. 4, and on-demand viewing through Dec. 27.

Auditions for the holiday show, Playhouse on Air Presents: Miracle on 34th Street, will be held virtually with an audition video submission deadline of 6:00 PM, Monday, Oct. 19, 2020. All auditions are open to the public; no one is pre-cast.

Actors Co-op Theatre Company's well-received production of the Los Angeles premiere and now Ovation Recommended production of MIRACLE ON 34th STREET: A Live Musical Radio Play, running through December 15, has added two Saturday matinees December 7 at 2:30 pm and December 14 at 2:30 pm.

“This is a tale that we want to believe in, that creates a world we seem to desperately desire, free of the blatant commercialism that surrounds us, where love and decency and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. What we want Christmas to be all about, really.” So writes the Santa Cruz Sentinel of this most heartwarming holiday story. By chance, Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy's. Kris unleashes waves of good will with Macy's customers and the commercial world of New York City by referring parents to other stores to find exactly the toy their child has asked for. Seen as deluded and dangerous by Macy's vocational counselor, who plots to have Kris shanghaied to Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital, Kris ends up in a court competency hearing. Especially at stake is one little girl's belief in Santa. Performances are December 6th thru the 15th, 2019 and will be held at the Wigwam Theater (10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road Northwest, Pickerington, OH 43147).
