Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the concert hall, Film Concerts Live! announces Jaws in Concert, the fourth in their series of blockbuster films by legendary director Steven Spielberg developed especially for presentation in concert venues

Actor Christopher Lloyd, who portrayed Emmett 'Doc' Brown, will join fellow cast member James Tolkan (Mr. Strickland), composer Alan Silvestri, writer/producer Bob Gale, and the entire New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for two special 30th anniversary HD screenings of the original BACK TO THE FUTURE at the renowned Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Led by conductor David Newman, the orchestra will perform Silvestri's entire original score live in sync with the film, including 20 minutes of brand new music that Silvestri added for this special live concert production.

Urban-themed band, ?Vocal Trash, which uses its shows to promote the preservation of the environment, will perform at The Alden in McLean. The single show is at 8 p.m. tonight, Oct. 18. Tickets are $20, $15 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located inside the McLean Community Center at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

The Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of CHICAGO, the musical which holds the record as the third longest running show in Broadway history, will star Samantha Barks as Velma Kelly, Drew Carey as Amos Hart, Lucy Lawless as 'Mama' Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The production played 3 nights - July 31, August 1 and August 2 to cheering crowds, but the crazy part is - the final dress is done at 10am, in broad daylight and is open to the public, as the venue is a county-owned facility. People showed up in droves, for the run-through and cheered on the actors, the Hollywood Bowl orchestra and conductor Kevin Stites, who you will see is wearing a black, casual shirt for the rehearsal. The show's director, Richard Jay-Alexander, made a brief speech before the run, welcoming everybody, and in this exclusive footage, I was also able to catch him, in his dressing room, before the Opening Night performance.

When Frank Loesser wrote the music and lyrics for Guys and Dolls - a Musical Fable of Broadway he may not have envisioned an outdoor production at an iconic venue nestled in the Hollywood Hills, but the all-star cast of Guys and Dolls in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl will sing and dance beneath those 'stars in the sky' in an original, fully-staged production especially adapted for the Hollywood Bowl stage. Guys and Dolls in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl is a one-of-a-kind production by the same creative team behind last summer's Les Misérables in Concert, led by director Richard Jay-Alexander, with choreography by Tony award-winner Donna McKechnie and musical direction by Kevin Stites, conducting the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

It may be March, but all eyes and ears on the West Coast are focusing on July, 2009, when the Hollywood Bowl will present Frank Loesser's Guys & Dolls as their annual musical.
