Boomerang Theatre Company will present a revival of William Shakespeare's CYMBELINE in Central Park. This production celebrates Boomerang's 17th summer of producing free theatre in parks throughout New York City. The production is directed by Cailin Heffernan. CYMBELINE plays a four week limited engagement in Central Park (71st Street and Central Park West), with general lawn seating. Performances begin tonight, June 20th and continue through July 19th. Performances are free, and no tickets are required.

Variations Theatre Group's acclaimed production of David Rabe's HURLYBURLY will end its limited run today, March 1st at The Chain Theatre. The original production of HURLYBURLY took New York by storm in 1984, directed by Mike Nichols. Although the long-running Broadway hit was presented in three acts, David Rabe pared his script into a leaner two-act version for the 2005 Off-Broadway revival starring Ethan Hawke and Bobby Cannavale. It is this revised version which is presented by Variations Theatre Group by special arrangement with the playwright.

Founded in 1994 by the late playwright/filmmaker Arch Brown in memory of his life partner of 28 years, Bruce Allen Brown, the Arch & Bruce Brown Foundation honors outstanding plays and fiction dealing with LGBT history or placing lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender characters in historical settings.
