Cherry Lane Theatre's Tongues Reading Series will present a staged reading of Dad Might've Killed That Girl, a new play by Lindsay Joy (The Rise and Fall of a Teenage Cyberqueen), December 11th on the MainStage at The Cherry Lane Theatre.
In the Event of My Death is about eight small-town twenty-somethings, who know each other from high school, who share an impromptu time of mourning and celebration after the suicide of a mutual friend. This play was originally developed through The Farm Theater's College Collaboration program, under the artistic direction of Padraic Lillis.

On Monday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. in Zankel Hall, The Carnegie Hall Notables hosted REVIVAL: Broadway's Next Act, a panel discussion focusing on the fresh approach that composers have recently introduced to Broadway, attracting audiences through a new range of media, from YouTube to MTV.
