Dancers Over 40's last event of 2015, the 7th Annual Legacy Awards presentation, was its most joyous. This holiday celebration and awards event was held last night, December 7th, at LIPS Restaurant, 227 East 56th Street. This year's event was hosted by Richard Skipper, with live entertainment by cabaret legend Barbara Minkus and Dames at Sea star Danny Gardner along with other surprise guests. Following a 16-year tenure as Founder/Senior Minister of Unity of New York, nationally renowned spiritual leader, Paul Tenaglia, begins an independent New Thought ministry with the creation of Spiritual Arts Center NYC - A New Thought Church, commencing November 1st, with weekly Sunday services at 11:00 am. 

Voices in Unity, the 70 member choir of Unity of New York, with guests Spiritus vocal ensemble, Broadway's Rosena Hill, award-winning cabaret vocalist Marieann Meringolo, spoken word artist Gha'il Rhodes Benjamin and others, will be in concert Celebrating Miracles at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street tonight, April 23rd, 2012 at 7:30 PM. Voices in Unity share their musical diversity with selections ranging from Gospel to Broadway and Pop to Classical. The concert is put together by Music Director Britt Hall, who creates repertoire, dynamic medleys and selects guest artists to perform with the choir.

Peter Mayer, Billboard charting composer and guitarist from Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer, Spiritus vocal ensemble and Voices in Unity, the 85 member choir of Unity of New York, will present their 10th anniversary concert of Stars and Promises - The Story of Christmas at Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street on Thursday, December 9th at 7:30 PM. Peter Mayer whose music has topped the charts created, 'Stars and Promises' with his brother Jim Mayer 10 years ago. This is a celebration of that anniversary and introduces into it Spiritus, the close harmony vocal ensemble whose self titled album was recently released and Voices in Unity the Unity of New York choir whose musical diversity includes selections ranging from Gospel to Broadway and Pop to Jazz.
