In Knuckles, Knuckles himself is introduced to ‘earth music’ through Wade Whipples’ ‘Wadejammerz’ mixed CDs. The Knuckles main title sequence is a nod to this memorable introduction and a nostalgic 90’s throwback, featuring markered animations of the film’s main characters which jump across the labels of the mixed CDs. The credits roll across the CDs as we flip through the CD case to the tune of “The Warrior” by Scandal featuring Patty Smyth. Watch the video!

The Broadway Education Alliance has announced that the Camp Broadway Ensemble will perform with The New York Pops at their 41st Birthday Gala at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7:00 pm. 

Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Art Garfunkel, Art Garfunkel Jr., Courtney Hadwin, Valerie Simpson, Patty Smyth, Ruben Studdard, Adrienne Warren, Diane Warren, and Avery Wilson will now join The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, to honor Clive Davis.

The lineup includes Zach Bryan and Cody Jinks on Saturday, and Tyler Childers and My Morning Jacket on Sunday, along with Matchbox Twenty, The National, Whiskey Myers, Black Pumas, The War On Drugs, The Beach Boys, Mt. Joy, Fleet Foxes, Young the Giant, Maren Morris, The Head and the Heart, Melissa Etheridge, Teddy Swims, and many more.

The Warner Theatre will welcome The FIXX with support by Kasim Sulton to the Oneglia Auditorium, Wednesday, November 22 at 8 pm!

Birdland presented singer/songwriter Amanda McBroom in “Crimes of the Heart” on Monday, May 2. Ms. McBroom is perhaps best known for her song, “The Rose,” which was famously recorded by Bette Midler for the film of the same name.  But until this concert, McBroom and Midler hadn’t met, even though the extraordinary composition helped change both careers.
