New York City will see a public industry reading of the new stage musical Fun With Jane on Saturday, June 10 at the Port Washington Library Stage.

Grammy and Tony Award Winner Heather Headley performed with The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, in an all-new program on Friday, February 10, 2023 in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall as part of The New York Pops' 40th anniversary season. The YALE INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC THEATRE (Mark Brokaw, Artistic Director) announces the creative teams and casting for the two original book musicals, COWBOY BOB, created by Molly Beach Murphy, Jeanna Phillips, and Annie Tippe, book by Molly Beach Murphy, music and lyrics by Jeanna Phillips; and GUMBO, music by Brett Macias and book and lyrics by Christina Quintana, conceived by Brett Macias and Christina Quintana, which are being developed in an intensive two-week summer lab at Yale School of Drama, June 13-24. Scott Frankel is the Artistic Advisor, and Catherine Sheehy is the resident Dramaturg for this year's Institute, which culminates with open rehearsal readings of each project, presented as part of New Haven's International Festival of Arts & Ideas on June 23 and 24.

It was announced today during a live appearance from the stage of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, that Multi-Platinum recording artist and actress Vanessa Williams is set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical, After Midnight. Williams will play performances from Tuesday, April 1, 2014 through Sunday, May 11, 2014 at theBrooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, After Midnight began preview performances on Friday, October 18, 2013, and opened to rave reviews on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

Original cast member and Grammy Award winner Fantasia plays her final performance as the 'Special Guest Star' in Broadway's AFTER MIDNIGHT today, Feb. 9, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. She will be succeeded by singer k.d. lang on Feb. 11, who will remain with the production through March 9

Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edwards are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the new Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edwards will join the company following k.d. lang, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 30, 2014. As previously announced, After Midnight will reintroduce the Cotton Club's exciting tradition of welcoming the stars of today in limited engagements throughout the musical's run.
