Theatre for the New City Explodes with New Musical, THE FOLK SINGER and New Plays: LIFE MASKS


Created by the team behind the critically acclaimed 2015 production of Heather Smiley for President, the musical has a book and lyrics by Tom Attea, with music composed by Arthur Abrams. BRIGHT STAR's Lizzie Klemperer & Timothy John Smith to Lead LISA AND LEONARDO at NYMF


The new musical Lisa and Leonardo will be presented at this year's New York Musical Festival. With music by Donya Lane, lyrics by Ed McNamee and book by Donna Lane, Ed McNamee & Michael Unger. Lisa and Leonardo will be directed by Michelle Tattenbaum with musical direction by Robert Frost and choreography by Jonathan Cerullo. The show will begin July 21 and running through July 28 at the Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 W 42nd Street). Fellowship For Performing Arts (FPA) (Artistic Director Max McLean) is proud to present the New York return of THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, which begins performances tonight as the second show in FPA's inaugural 2015/2016 New York season at The Pearl Theatre (555 West 42nd Street). Based on the novel by C.S. Lewis and adapted for the stage by FPA Founder and Artistic Director Max McLean and Jeff Fiske, THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS will officially open on Wednesday, January 13 for a strictly limited run through Sunday, January 24.
