Founder Rosie O’Donnell, and Founding Artistic and Executive Director Lori Klinger have announced that Rosie’s Theater Kids will honor writer, director and producer Charles Randolph-Wright at this year’s Passing It On Gala, an evening of performances celebrating 21 years of mentorship.

Broadway stars Jessie Mueller (Tony Award, BEAUTIFUL), Chesney Snow (IN TRANSIT), Adrienne Warren (SHUFFLE ALONG), Christopher Jackson (HAMILTON), and BD Wong (M BUTTERFLY) joined 60 students from ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS - the musical theater and education organization for NYC public school students -- on stage at the school's annual spring benefit evening, entitled 'Passing It On' at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68 St. between Park and Lexington Avenues) on Sunday evening, April 23. The students also performed in pieces choreographed and directed by Chase Brock (SPIDERMAN) Camille A. Brown and Wong. Scroll down for photos from the star-studded event!

Rosie's Theater Kids has announced Hamilton's Javier Muñoz as mentor for their 'Passing It On' event this spring.

Last night, Rosie's Theater Kids Junior Initiative held their annual fundraiser, to support Rosie O'Donnell's charity organization that provides free music, theater, and dance training to underserved New York City youth (www.rosiestheaterkids.org). Check out photos from the event below!

On Wednesday evening, June 20th, a private reading of QUILT - A Musical Celebration at Rosie O'Donnell's Maravel Arts Center, home of Rosie's Theater Kids in New York, took place to mark the 25th anniversary of The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt in advance of its planned summer return to the nation's capital. On Tuesday, March 27th, Rosie's Theater Kids held an event called 'Passing It On,' where the Kids performed a show which they learned in tandem with mega mentors like Audra McDonald, BD Wong, Brandon Victor Dixon, Dana Moore, and Derick K Grant, among others.
