Laguna Playhouse Presents the World Premiere Production of Agatha Christie Thriller MURDER ON THE LINKS

LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE will present a transfer of North Coast Repertory’s World Premiere production of MURDER ON THE LINKS, based on the novel by Agatha Christie and written & directed by acclaimed playwright Steven Dietz.
MainStreet Theatre Company to Premiere AESOP IN RANCHO CUCAMONGA, 10/26-11/10

MainStreet Theatre Company has announced the first production of its 2013/2014 season, Aesop in Rancho Cucamonga, a world premiere play by Luis Alfaro and directed by Robert Castro. Now in its eighth season, MainStreet Theatre Company commissioned this adaptation of Aesop's Fables with a generous grant from the James Irvine Foundation. The production, which is also supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, will play two school performances on October 25 and open to the public on Saturday, October 26 at 4pm. The strictly limited engagement will run through Sunday, November 10 only.

Iconic stage and screen actress Kathleen Turner returns to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater to star in Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins, as the feisty, unforgettable political journalist. Written by twin-sister journalists Margaret Engel and Allison Engel and directed by David Esbjornson (Broadway's The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? and Driving Miss Daisy), the D.C. premiere kicks off Arena Stage's 2012/13 season playing August 23 through October 28, 2012 in the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle.

Tears and laughter as Richard Benjamin (Philippe), Len Cariou (Henri), and George Segal (Gustave) trade jabs and barbs all while enhancing their fraternity as three decorated soldiers growing old in a Parisian Veterans home set in 1959.
