This reviewer was overwhelmed by the acclaimed musical Tour de Force that is Michael Feinstein and the marvelous Carnegie Hall Big Band at the March 27th edition of Standard Time with Michael Feinstein.

The beloved concert series STANDARD TIME WITH MICHAEL FEINSTEIN continued on February 28th at Carnegie Hall’s intimate Zankel Hall stage. Whether you want a chance to hear American Songbook standards performed live by a true master, or you’re looking to dive deeper and learn more, Feinstein is marvelous to watch. He returns to Carnegie on March 27th.

The inimitable jazz singer Catherine Russell is back at Birdland February 13th to 17th, with two more shows tonight and tomorrow at 8:30 and 10:30 pm, where she'll be playing Valentine’s Celebration, Love Songs and more, an annual tradition. As soon as Melissa Errico entered Broadway’s supper club, 54 Below, with her megawatt smile, dressed head to toe in sequins and a giant bow, this reviewer knew it was going to be a great night!

Last night, 54 Below favorite Melissa Errico opened her new show BROADWAY BABY- FROM MANHASSET TO MANHATTAN & BEYOND.

A dazzling evening of pure vocal, instrumental, and theatrical bliss occurred on the evening of October 21,2023 when the renowned Broadway veteran and entertainer Brian Stokes Mitchell wowed the crowd at the Music Center at Strathmore.  This two -time Tony Award winning talent showcased versatility to the max and he delivered an upbeat spirit of positive energy and goodwill that made his impeccable talent even more appealing. (His hope was to make the audience feel better by the end of the concert—then they had felt when they had come in, --- and this hope was fulfilled).

She’s got the talent, she’s got the show biz smarts, she’s got the love for performing, she communicates, and she’s in command.
