Marcia Strassman, best known as Gabe Kaplan's wife, Julie, on the hit 70's comedy WELCOME BACK KOTTER has passed away at the age of 66.
Following a long battle with breast cancer, Marcia Strassman has died at age 66.
Classic 1970s sitcom 'Welcome Back, Kotter,' which introduced the masses to The Lost Boy's playwright Ron Palillo and actor John Travolta, will join the Me-TV line-up beginning on Monday, April 14. 'Kotter,' which produced 95 episodes on ABC from 1975-79, will replace 'F Troop' in the Monday to Thursday 9:30 p.m. half-hour.
