Listeners will hear the tale of Lorraine Stubenski, a gymnast who once 'lost her balance,' and shockingly failed to qualify for the Olympics; 20 years later, with the help of a newly taking-charge housewife and an Israeli fitness guru learning how to 'make aerobics,' Lorraine must face her onetime gymnastic partner and love interest, the diet-pill pushing Trip Allen, in the only place he might be vulnerable: the National Crystal Light Aerobics Championship, hosted by Alan Thicke.

'The Pearl Diver' is a magical tale about a young girl and a sea dragon. It was first known as the subject of a Noh, a medieval musical. In the spring of 2012 the story could be seen on illustrated scrolls at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. This production incorporates poetry, song, dance and live music.

Broadway and Symphony Pop Siren N'Kenge joins the All Star Cast at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) which will host a Funk-Raising evening to benefit the development of 54: the musical, the first project selected for its new works initiative. The evening, featuring selections from 54, will be held June 17 at 8 PM at The House of Independents (HOI) in Asbury Park, NJ. Directed by Rachel Klein with choreography by Liz Piccoli, 54:the musical features a book by playwright and actress Renee Bang Allen.

P!nk Musical TRUE LOVE Presents Second Workshop Today


Producer Paul Adams and Emerging Artists Theatre present second developmental workshop of the new musical, TRUE LOVE. The musical, formerly called MEAN: THE MUSICAL, received its first workshop in May as part of Emerging Artists' 'New Work Series.' Singer-Songwriter Alecia Beth Moore (P!nk) is currently not involved directly with the musical's development, but is aware of the project. The second one-day only staged reading will take place today, October 10th at 2:00 PM at TADA! Theater, 15 West 28th Street in NYC.
