Horizon Theatre Company is continuing its outstanding 35th Anniversary Season with one of the most critically acclaimed plays of the past decade, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Winner of 7 Olivier Awards and 5 Tony Awards including 'Best Play,' the show brings Mark Haddon's beloved best-selling novel to thrilling life on stage, adapted by two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens.  Horizon Theatre Company's Atlanta premiere starts performances September 20, 2019 (Press Opening September 27, 2019) and runs until October 27, 2019 at Horizon Theatre in Little Five Points/Inman Park (1083 Austin Avenue N.E., Atlanta, GA 30307)  Atlanta. This show is a co-production between Horizon Theatre Company and Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This production will move to Aurora for a run from January 9 through February 9, 2020. The play is sponsored in part by The Marcus Autism Center, a subsidiary of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and Osiason Educational Foundation.

Based on the film Bullets Over Broadway by Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath, the production will be directed by GET Associate Artistic Director James A. Donadio, with musical direction by S. Renee Clark and choreography by Lauren Brooke Tatum. It runs April 11th through April 28th, 2019 at the company's home in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center and is graciously sponsored by The Malon D. Mimms Company.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2017-2018 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, August 27, to patrons and industry artists. Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant, and recently honored with the most Suzi Bass Awards for a musical in Atlanta (Miss Saigon), is pleased to present GREASE, by Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey. The show is directed by Brian Clowdus with music direction by Chris Brent Davis and choreography by Bubba Carr. The show opens on March 23rd and runs through April 16th, only. Returning for its 18th anniversary production, Atlanta's red-hot holiday sensation, The Santaland Diaries by award-winning satirist David Sedaris, will run November 18 -December 31 at Horizon Theatre Company. Wanderlust Atlanta says "your sides are going to hurt and your cheeks will be so sore after laughing and smiling for a solid 90 minutes!" This non-traditional, adult-only, Christmas comedy provides the perfect laughter-induced remedy to the holiday blues.
