THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY (Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director) in partnership with the Jewish Plays Project (David Winitsky, Artistic Director), have announced a one-night only reading presentation of 2021 National Jewish Playwriting Contest Winner, WHO BY FIRE, written by Talisa Friedman and directed by legendary casting director John Levey.  

The Jewish Plays Project has announced the six finalists for the 2023 Jewish Playwriting Contest, the JPP's 12th annual competition celebrating the best in contemporary Jewish playwriting, with the hopes of seeing these plays find world premier productions.

The Jewish Plays Project announced the seven finalists for the 11th National Jewish Playwriting Contest, chosen from over 250 submissions from 30 states and five countries.

As the world continues to change, and we try to keep the spirit of the holidays alive, Dance Molinari wanted to make sure that the show goes on this year! Stars in the House presented a gala and telethon with French Woods Festival of the Arts partnering with the Hancock-French Woods Arts Alliance this past Sunday, August 16th. The virtual Gala reached over 20,000 views throughout the Stars In The House network and raised $26,000 with 100% of the proceeds supporting the College Arts Scholarship Fund.

Kitchen Theatre Company has announced that producing artistic director M. Bevin O'Gara and associate producing director Lesley Greene have departed the company, as of June 30.

Director, producer and Cornell University alumnus ('93) David Winitsky has been named the new Interim Producing Artistic Director of Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Company. David's appointment was unanimously approved by the Kitchen Theatre Company's Board of Directors. He succeeds M. Bevin O'Gara, the theatre's Producing Artistic Director since 2017.

The Jewish Repertory Theater has announced it has been selected to host a City Final in the Jewish Plays project's annual National Jewish Playwriting Contest. The JCC will host the City Final as an online event, Wednesday, June 24, from 7-8 P.M.
