He has also written and performed in the Flip Side of Neil Sedaka, which earned him a Bistro Award. Lots of show biz friends turned out to congratulate Julie on her "new home". Julie's first show is on May 14th and Richard Skipper her publicist announced the the opening performance is almost sold out.

Her most recent New York engagement was named a 'Critic's Pick' by Time Out New York and called 'a compelling concert and a totally-inspiring comeback performance' by BroadwayWorld.com. The evening of music at the Iridium will feature timeless pop standards by Cole Porter, Jule Styne and Harold Arlen, in addition to 1960's classics from The Beatles and Burt Bacharach, her Billboard-charting hit 'Why Can't I Walk Away?' and songs from emerging New York composers. Music director John Oddo (Rosemary Clooney, Michael Feinstein, Debby Boone) will lead an all-star trio.
