Last night, New York's social elite donned their best white and yellow looks to celebrate midsummer at the Moxy Hotel's 'Fleur Room' in the Chelsea flower district.

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research announced today that they will honor designer Andrew Warren at the first ever Midsummer Angel Gala, "Where Art & Music Meets Cancer". Established from the desire of young entrepreneurs and professionals to give back and make a difference in the fight against cancer, proceeds raised from the evening will benefit the Foundation's music therapy program for cancer patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Hosted by YouTube star Twan Kuyper, the event will be held on Monday, June 24th at The Fleur Room in New York City.

The show Farberesque: From Pensive to Provocative at 3West57 Project presented by Cavalier Gallery is a fascinating overview of the vast body of work created by the iconic photographer who has influenced scores of the world's leading photographers with his painterly, impressionistic style that allows the viewer to see the subject from a different perspective by creating unique compositions . The annual National Meningitis Association (NMA) Give Kids a Shot Gala was once again an emotion filled evening but a stellar success in aiding the fight against meningitis, a potentially vaccine preventable disease. Held in the elegant ballrooms of the historic New York Athletic Club with phenomenal views of Central Park as a backdrop, hundreds of New York's movers and shakers turned out to support the cause and also to congratulate meningitis survivor & Para Olympic Gold Medalist Nick Springer, an Honorary Chair along with Ambassador & Mrs. John L.
