After more than 15 months of a darkened stage as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Coachella Valley Repertory is welcoming back live audiences. “Welcoming patrons back to the Playhouse is an incredible feeling. The Phantom of the Opera has long reigned as one of the jewels in the pantheon of musical theater. The current national tour retains the beauty of the old while incorporating new technical marvels. The sets and costumes are fit for a palace while the staging ensures that the story is not lost among the grandeur. Compelling and mesmerizing, Phantom hits all the high notes.

Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group announced today that Derrick Davis, Jordan Craig, Trista Moldovan and Emily Ramirez will join the principal cast of the spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera currently on national tour.

San Jose opened their season with the reimagined production of Phantom of the Opera. For going on three decades this show has enthralled audience members young and old and has once again captured the minds of Bay Area audience members at the beautiful San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Playing now through October 2 this dramatically lush musical, featuring our favorite phantom specter, is spectacular.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA I just experienced at the Kennedy Center renewed my faith in the show: it is a delight for all the senses, possesses dazzling stagecraft, and is performed by a cast that mines the romance, danger, and intrigue from the story and score. I declare this production a dream come true. Chris Mann, formerly a contestant on THE VOICE headlines the show in the title role, performing with mystery and power. His Christine on the night I attended, Kaitlyn Davis, was stunning, as well.

Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA announces the return of Julia Udine to the national tour.  Ms. Udine will resume performances as 'Christine Daae,' the role which she created for the national tour and most recently starred as on Broadway, for the Washington DC engagement at the Kennedy Center July 13-August 20 and the Denver engagement at Buell Hall August 25-September 11.  Katie Travis will return to the role in the fall.

The tech and scale of this North American touring production of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA are, in a word, magnificent. It is a spectacle of spectacles, and set designer Paul Brown deserves his own ovation. The sound, brilliantly executed by the Hippodrome techs and cleverly imagined by designer Mick Potter, creates an immersive environment which gives the unseen title character location and substance.

Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA premieres at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall March 9-20, 2016. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM is performed by a cast and orchestra of 52 people, making this one of the largest productions on tour in North America.

A new version of the iconic eighties mega musical, The Phantom of the Opera, opened tonight in Toronto at The Princess of Wales theatre - just a short distance away from what was once called The Pantages (now the Ed Mirvish) theatre where the original Canadian production of the musical ran for a decade. Considering Phantom is still the longest running musical our city has ever had, it's only natural Torontonians have certain expectations.

Broadway at the Hobby Center has brought Houston one of the best touring versions of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA out there, and it notably soars hitting most all of the notes we demand. Audiences should have an absolute blast at this one.

The current tour of PHANTOM recently opened in San Antonio to excited and nearly sold-out audiences at the Majestic Theatre.

Hodges and Hodges Set the Stage for The Phantom of the Opera at SHNSF's Orpheum Theatre, playing now through October 4th.
