Andrea Marcovicci - the acclaimed singer and actress dubbed 'The High Priestess of the American Songbook' by The New York Times - will celebrate her landmark 25th anniversary at the famed Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel. Her new show 'No Strings' runs from November 15 to December 30, featuring Music Director Shelly Markham on piano and Jered Egan on bass. For the second year in a row, Andrea will offer a special holiday performance on Monday, December 26 at 7:30 PM. Last night at the Waldorf-Astoria, Bette Midler hosted Hulaween 2010, her annual gala to benefit the New York Restoration Project. This year's event honored Senator John Kerry and featured a special performance by Paul Simon, a costume contest judged by Michael Kors and a live auction with Judy Gold. New York Restoration Project (NYRP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to reclaiming and restoring New York City parks, community gardens and open space. In partnership with the City of New York, NYRP is also leading MillionTreesNYC - an initiative to plant and care for one million new trees throughout New York City's five boroughs by 2017. On Monday, November 12 at the Cipriani Wall Street (55 Wall Street), Gerald Schoenfeld, Board Chairman of The Shubert Organization and The Shubert Foundation, received the Joan Warburg Humanitarian Award from The Acting Company. Legendary producer Edgar Lansbury was presented with the John Houseman Award honoring his commitment to the development of classical actors and a national audience for the theater.

Only Make Believe honored the Sesame Workshop with the first annual Only Make Believe Community Award and Bon Jovi founding member and keyboardist David Bryan with the James Hammerstein Award at their 7th Annual Gala on Monday November 5 at 7PM at the Millennium Hotel's Hudson Theatre.

On Dec. 12 the NY premiere of The Phantom of the Opera film took place at the Ziegfeld Theater. The film opens in LA, NY and other select cities on Dec. 22, and across the country in Jan. 2005.

The Best of Broadway show was hosted by Hayley Mills, and Brad Oscar and benefitted the Only Make Believe Foundation.
