History was made on Saturday, April 8, 2017 during the 7th annual, highly anticipated and globally respected Show Choir Canada Championships as the international event's prestigious Grand Championship title was awarded for the first time to competitors outside of Canada, from the United States of America.
The Randolph Academy's honorary patron Sergio Trujillo returned to Toronto on June 22 as a VIP presenter at the 2015 Dora Mavor Moore Awards. At the ceremony, Mr. Trujillo was presented with a congratulatory scroll from Mayor John Tory's office by Councillor Gary Crawford (Ward 36-Scarborough Southwest), acknowledging Mr. Trujillo's accomplishments in the arts.

The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts held its 20th Anniversary Gala on October the 15th, 2012. This event gathered over 200 friends, family, and alumni at the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto. Together, they enjoyed a dinner and an alumni studded concert. The Honorary Chair of the evening was David Mirvish of Mirvish Productions, who spoke about the long-standing relationship that the Randolph Academy and Mirvish Productions has shared since the Academy's founding in 1992.
The 2012 Dora Mavor Moore Awards took place this past Monday night, honouring the best of the best of the past year in Toronto theatre. The Lost Treasures Collection, a series of rarely performed musicals, continues its second season at Lakewood Theatre Company with the musical, Goldilocks, directed by Ron Daum. This show, the third in a series of musicals featuring movie themes, is presented in a concert/cabaret style and will be performed for two nights only, Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, 2012 on Lakewood's Side Door stage. The musical features a book by Jean and Walter Kerr, music by Leroy Anderson, and lyrics by the Kerrs and Joan Ford. The title sponsor for the series is Banner Bank.
