BABBITT, the world premiere adaption by Joe DiPietro of the novel of the same name by Sinclair Lewis brings the satirical struggle of the modern, middle-class man to the stage through December 10th at the La Jolla Playhouse.

Matthew Broderick will lead the cast of the world-premiere production of Babbitt, by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), adapted from the novel by Sinclair Lewis, choreographed by Stephen Buescher, directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley.

On June 26, 2023, distinguished artists from across the entertainment industry will come together at Classic Stage Company's Lynn F. Angelson Theater for The 24 Hour Musicals, an intensive theatrical endeavor where artists write, rehearse and perform four new musicals in 24 hours.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 5th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Eighteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, now in its 10th year, once again brought together an extraordinary group of young artists for a free professional intensive culminating in their own production of The 24 Hour Plays — available for streaming through Saturday, July 31.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will premiere on Tuesday, June 29th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Manhattan Theatre Club will present its 2021 Spring Gala, “NYC MTC: A Virtual Gala for Manhattan Theatre Club,” on Thursday, June 10 at 7:00pm ET. A who's who of stage, screen, and music stars came together virtually last night to help The 24 Hour Plays celebrate its milestone 20th Annual Broadway Gala. Hugh Dancy, Rachel Dratch, Carly Hughes, Gillian Jacobs and Bebe Neuwirth were among the incredible talents who teamed up to write, rehearse, produce, and perform six original plays in 24 hours. The performance was entirely LIVE and streamed in living rooms around the world! 

Today, The 24 Hour Plays expanded the list of stage, screen and music stars that will join the 20th Annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala! As previously announced, a virtual performance will stream LIVE on Tuesday, December 1st at 8:00 PM. Joining the lineup are Tommy Dorfman, Clark Gregg, Carly Hughes, Gillian Jacobs, Rahne Jones, and more.

For the last week, the extraordinary company of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals have been participating in intensive workshops, panel discussions with industry leaders, and producing their own Viral Monologues - and their efforts will all culminate in their own LIVE virtual edition of The 24 Hour Plays, streaming TONIGHT at 8 PM ET.

Deadline reports that season two of 'Flack,' starring Anna Paquin, will return to Pop TV on Friday, March 13. This will be the start of the second season.

Just last night, The 24 Hour Plays took place at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, honoring Academy Award-winning actor Kathy Bates.
