A music video for the new song 'What’s My Name (Red Version)' has debuted on DisneyMusicVEVO and is the first track to be released from the soundtrack. China Anne McClain reprises her popular “Descendants 2” anthem as Uma, the daughter of Ursula - alongside Kylie Cantrall who stars as Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts and the franchise’s newest Villain Kid (VK). Watch the video here!

Alex Boniello Joins Disney's New DESCENDANTS Film


Alex Boniello has joined the cast of the new Descendants movie musical on Disney+. The Spring Awakening and Dear Evan Hansen star will play Jack of Diamonds, the captain of the Queen of Hearts' Red Army. He joins the recently confirmed Paolo Montalban, who will reunite with his “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” co-star Brandy.

Brandy Norwood will return to the role of Cinderella, which she first played in Disney’s 1997 “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella,” in a new installment to the Descendants musical franchise on Disney+. RATINGS: ZOMBIES 2 Delivers 1.9 Million Kids and Nearly 5 Million Total Viewers for Disney Channel


Another howling success for kids, tweens and families was delivered by the premiere telecast of the Disney Channel Original Movie 'ZOMBIES 2' (Friday, Feb. 14, 8:00 p.m.), which according to Nielsen's Live+7 data is the #1 cable telecast of 2020 to-date (excluding sports/news programming) with nearly 5 million Total Viewers 2+. It was watched by 1.9 million Kids 6-11 viewers (12.56 rating), 1.4 million Girls 6-11 (18.43 rating), 1.6 million Tweens 9-14 (9.98 rating), 1.1 million Girls 9-14 and 4.9 million Total Viewers - higher ratings than its Feb. 2018 predecessor, 'ZOMBIES.' The sequel posted cable television's highest ratings among all Kid and Girl demographics since Disney Channel's premiere of 'Descendants 3' in Aug. 2019. Replays of the movie are strong performers on Disney Channel linear, Video On Demand and DisneyNOW and it ranks in the Top 5 TV Chart on Apple iTunes.

Disney+ Orders Revival of THE PROUD FAMILY


Disney+ has ordered the long-anticipated revival of the groundbreaking animated series 'The Proud Family' which, 18 years after its Disney Channel premiere, is still beloved for its characters, stories and multilayered humor and for its messages about inclusion and cultural diversity in a smart, modern way. The new animated family sitcom 'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' is currently in production at Disney Television Animation with Academy Award-winning creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar, who led the original series, at the helm, reuniting them with Calvin Brown, Jr. who is co-executive producer and story editor.

Production has resumed in Salt Lake City on the second season of the popular Disney+ series 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' as the East High drama students prepare to perform 'Beauty and the Beast' as their Spring musical.
