Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren is headed back to Broadway to lead the American premiere of ROOM, written and adapted for the stage by Emma Donoghue, based on her 2010 best-selling novel which she also adapted into the award-winning 2015 film.

Through the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA)’s continued efforts to include diverse voices and perspectives, the museum is offering a robust series of educational and public programming to commemorate Black History Month this February.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced full casting and performance dates for the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok (Sanctuary City, Ironbound) and directed by Obie Award winner Jo Bonney (72 Miles to Go..., By The Way, Meet Vera Stark).

The Instagram account 'Black Women on Broadway,' will host its first awards ceremony this week at New York City's Empire Hotel.

Andrew Dosenmu is attached to direct the first episode. Based on the book by Charmaine Wilkerson, the series was created by Marissa Jo Cerar, who Wareen previously worked with on ABC's Women of the Movement.
