Erin Cronican an award-winning actor, producer and director who is based in New York City. She is a founding member of The Seeing Place Theater and has served as its Executive Artistic Director since 2011. For The Seeing Place she has produced 41 main-stage productions, 19 of which she also directed. Erin is an NYIT nominated actor for her work in TSP’s The Maids. Off Broadway: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea; Sistas; This One’s For The Girls. Favorite roles with TSP: My Name is Rachel Corrie (Rachel) Othello (Desdemona); Closer (Anna); Getting Out (Arlene); Boy Gets Girl (Theresa); A Lie of the Mind (Beth); The Laramie Project (Mercedes Herrero Track) Regional favorites: The Last Five Years; Angels in America; Camelot; South Pacific; Evita. Outside of The Seeing Place, producing credits include the Actors Alliance Short Play Festival (2002-2005), the dual productions of Perfect Teeth/Dick Pix at TheaterLab, countless table readings for Wilderness Films, and since 2010 has produced an educational series called Actor-Own Musical Concerts. She has also directed/produced 5 cabaret events and is on the board of The Salon Open Mic in New York City.
