Georgia-based band Neighbor Lady has released their new album, For The Birds (Park The Van). Today they also share the newest single off the album, “Sister” of which they note, “‘Sister’ shows Neighbor Lady at our most vulnerable. It’s a testament to the invisible ties that keep us together, and a song that isn’t afraid to embrace love unapologetically.”

Today the band has revealed a new single off the LP, “Feel It All The Time.” A hypnotic torch ballad, the song lulls the listener into an eerie dreamworld with a repeated broken chord played on piano while vocalist Emily Braden entreats the listener to “take it or leave it all.” Watch the visualizer for the new single now!

Today the band shares a taste of the LP by way of the infectious and playful single “Felt.” The song is a glimpse into the band’s bright and cozy world on For The Birds, where even the most pedestrian feels like magic. Neighbor Lady is Emily Braden (vocals), Jack Blauvelt, (guitars, keyboard), Payton Collier (bass), and Andrew McFarland (drums).

Neighbor Lady recorded “Haunting” with Jason Kingsland (Kaiser Chiefs, Band of Horses, Belle & Sebastian) at Diamond Street Studios in Atlanta and it was mixed by Noah Georgeson (Andy Shauf, Cate Le Bon, Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom). ?Jersey Tap Fest, NJ's sole dance festival featuring world-class tap faculty and extravaganza, celebrates its sixth year, August 13-16, 2015 in Roselle Park and Bloomfield, NJ. This year, the 4-day festival will offer two main stage performances: an updated format of audience favorite TAP 'N TIME, and a brand new production, Soul Walk, with all original choreography by festival founder Hillary-Marie. In addition to these performances, the festival will feature more than 30 tap dance classes with master instructors from across the tri-state area. Jersey Tap Fest also provides various opportunities for the public to participate and interact with tap dancing through history lessons, a jam session, student showcase and faculty panel discussion.
On Monday night, Jim Caruso's Cast Party was a hotbed of activity, and not just because of the summer temperature! The jam-packed house was thrilled to celebrate the cast of Closer Than Ever, the Matlby-Shire musical review starring Jenn Colella, Christiane Noll, Sal Viviano and George Dvorskey, accompanied by Andrew Gerle. A few lucky (and knowledgeable) audience members even won tickets to the show.
