Broadway opens again in a few weeks, concerts are being scheduled again, and The Alliance is performing WORKING: A MUSICAL – the theatre is coming back soon! While we may not be back in front of a velvet curtain yet, WORKING: A MUSICAL under the tent teases normalcy while delivering a Coca-Cola Stage-worthy performance.  

The Pasadena Playhouse (Danny Feldman, Producing Artistic Director) continues it FOUR BY TENN: A TENNESSEE WILLIAMS READING SERIES in celebration of Tennessee Williams with CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. Performed in association with East West Players and directed by Snehal Desai, the reading will feature Suzy Nakamura of ABC's DR. KEN as Mae Pollitt. Also joining Nakamura are Laura Kai Chen, Ryun Yu, C.S. Lee, Amy Hill, Dana Lee, Jenapher Zheng, Greg Watanabe and Anil Kumar Bhardwarj. CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF will be read on Monday, March 13 at 8:00 PM at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue, Pasadena).

The performance from the cast of LES MISERABLES began with Hugh Jackman taking the stage to perform the new original song 'Suddenly' from Tom Hooper's adaptation, where he was then joined by Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne - as well as numerous members from the show's various productions - to perform the Act One Finale 'One Day More', while Anne Hathaway will sing a section of 'I Dreamed A Dream'. Culminating Spotlight Cabaret's phenomenal 1.5 year residency at Café Metropol, Aaron Jacob's monthly showcase returns to Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, June 11, 2011 to celebrate the joy of the original cabaret style.

According to a recent Twitter post from the official Wicked the Musical Twitter account, the hit show will end its San Francisco run on September 5th. The production opened at the Orpheum Theatre on February 6, 2009.

On Friday July 3rd members of the San Francisco casts of ?Wicked' and ?Spamalot' will join Composer and Lyricist Scott Alan for a concert of his songbook at the Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko.

HAPPY DAYS - A New Musical will begin performances on Friday, October 31 (with a press opening on Saturday, November 1) and will run through Sunday, November 16 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada, near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue.
