As the nation ramps up to the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA30) on July 26, the 50-member ADA Lead On 'Core Production Team' and 22 ADA Generation bloggers, influencers and signal boosters are focused and determined to flip the script on educating, entertaining and empowering people with (and without) disabilities.

Last night, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts hosted An Evening of Wicked Fun Honoring Stephen Schwartz, a Spring Celebration fundraising event presented by the legendary House of Harry Winston, highlighting the work of the award-winning composer/lyricist of classic musicals including Wicked, Pippin, Godspell, Enchanted and more. 

This week, New York Theatre Workshop hosted its NYTW 2019 Gala celebrating 40 Years!  The evening featured performances from Alice Ripley (Next to Normal); Anthony Rapp (RENT), Daphne Rubin-Vega (RENT), Amber Gray (Hadestown); Nathaly Lopez (What's It All About); Cristina Monet ("Disco Clone") plus members of the original casts of RENT; Bright Lights, Big City; What's It All About; Hadestown and more.  See photos from the evening below!

Freestyle Digital Media, the recently-acquired Digital Film Distribution division of Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios, has acquired the domestic rights to LOS ANGELES OVERNIGHT, a neo-noir thriller directed by first timer Michael Chrisoulakis. The film stars Arielle Brachfeld, Azim Rizk, Peter Bogdanovich, Lin Shaye, Ashley Park, Camilla Jackson and Julian Bane. The film will be available in theaters on March 9th and on digital platforms on March 13th, 2018.

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP) in association with The Pasadena Playhouse expands this holiday season at The Pasadena Civic Auditorium with their newest production - BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, A CHRISTMAS ROSE. 

The new Broadway production of Once On This Island officially opened last night, December 3rd, at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 W. 50th street, NYC), and is directed by Tony nominee Michael Arden, and choreographed by the critically-acclaimed Camille A. Brown.

Counter-Productions Theatre Company begins its 2017/2018 season with Samuel Beckett's absurdist masterpiece, WAITING FOR GODOT at AS220's Black Box Theatre on Empire St. in Providence. The New York Times has called this the greatest play of the Twentieth Century. It has attracted talents from Bert Lahr to Steve Marin and Robin Williams to John Turturro to take it on. I had never seen this play, was somewhat afraid of it, and am now glad I have. Sometimes it's tedious (I think that's deliberate and blame Beckett), but sometimes it's hilarious and sometimes very touching. Here we all are, trapped between life and death.

On last night's 'Movie Night' on DANCING WITH THE STARS, Jordan Fisher and his pro partner Lindsay Arnold danced a near flawless Rumba to Ed Sheeran's 'Supermarket Flowers.'

The play tells the story of two world-weary men, Vladimir and Estragon, as they linger on a barren roadside, awaiting the arrival of the mysterious Godot. It's not clear why they wait for him, although they seek an answer to an unspoken question. They'd rather not be there. They want to move on. Still they wait. And wait. And wait.
