What did our critic think of AGATHA CHRISTIE'S AND THEN THERE WERE NONE at Florida Repertory Theatre?

INTO THE BREECHES! at Florida Repertory Theatre tells the story of a group of women who band together during World War II to take on and perform Shakespeare plays in a time when the theatre industry was typically only run by men. 

Florida Repertory Theatre's 2021-2022 Season continues with “Into the Breeches!” by George Brant, a new comedy that follows the women of a local Shakespeare troupe who decide the show must go on – even though the men are overseas.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK at Florida Repertory Theatre, directed by Steve Pacek, tells the story of Arthur Kipps, who has been haunted by a dark past and is desperate to rid himself of it by having his story told. He enlists the help of a young actor, who then plays younger Arthur Kipps while the older Arthur Kipps plays the rest of the people he encountered, for the purpose of their reenactment.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 2020 PlayLab Festival of New Works kicks off Nov. 5th at 7 PM with the virtual reading of 'Spay' by Madison Fiedler, and continues with LIVE virtual readings on Nov. 12, 19, Dec. 3, and 10. The Festival also includes a Playwrights' Panel on Dec. 11 at 3:30 PM, where the festival playwrights talk about their craft and take questions from the audience.

Florida Repertory Theatre's production of THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO was an absolutely charming show. There were many funny, lighthearted moments throughout the show, but there was also a good amount of tension between characters, due to differences in their faith. It was a unique and very beautifully done romantic comedy.
