Off Broadway, he directed and choreographed OH KAY!, FUNNY FACE, BELLS ARE RINGING and ANYTHING GOES. On Broadway and the first national tour, Casey played the Scarecrow in THE WIZARD OF OZ, co-starring with Eartha Kitt and Mickey Rooney. He danced on the Radio City Music Hall Stage and toured internationally in A CHORUS LINE and MY FAIR LADY. In regional theater Casey played Bobby Child in CRAZY FOR YOU, Tony in SHEAR MADNESS, Edna in HAIRSPRAY, Carmen Ghia and Roger Debris in THE PRODUCERS; Lumiere in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and Rum Tum Tugger in CATS. Casey has been on the faculty with American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC for 30 years. Casey is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

ANYTHING GOES Returns Off-Broadway Through March


Back by popular demand, Musicals Tonight!'s production of Cole Porter's hit musical Anything Goes returns to The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42 Street) for a limited engagement February 27th through March 11th. Anything Goes is helmed by Casey Colgan who returns to the production as director and choreographer. Christopher Stephens is the musical director and costumes are designed by Jack Maisenbach.

Bells Are Ringing has a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and music by Jule Styne. It starred Judy Holliday was directed by Jerome Robbins and choreographed by Robbins and Bob Fosse. It opened in 1956 and ran for nearly three years. The 1960 movie starred Judy Holliday and Dean Martin.

Musicals Tonight! has announced its 20th season of five classic musical revivals: The Apple Tree by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick; Bells Are Ringing by Betty Comden and Adolph Green with music by Jule Styne; The Boys from Syracuse by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart; Anything Goes!, back by popular demand; and Calamity Jane by Sammy Fain.

Anything Goes has music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and the original 1934 production ran for over a year. The show is coming to Musicals Tonight!, March 14-26, and the full cast has just been announced.

Anything Goes hasmusic and lyrics by Cole Porter and is set on an ocean liner where Reno Sweeney is en route to England. Her pal Billy has stowed away to be near his love, Hope, but she is engaged to a wealthy Lord. Also on board are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martinand his sidekick-in-crime Erma.
