2019 has come and gone, and we are reflecting on those we have lost in the Broadway and theatre communities throughout the year.
BroadwayWorld is saddened to learn of the passing of Candice Earley. According to an obituary, she passed away at home after an, 8-year struggle with Multiple Systems Atrophy. She was 68.
As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, stage and screen star, Patricia Morison died at the age of 103 at home in Los Angeles of natural causes. A stage icon and legend best known for her starring roles in Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate and The King & I opposite Yul Brynner, she established an indelible mark in films with a reputation as a the villainous femme fatale with large blue eyes and extremely long, dark hair that made her a favorite of studios and fans alike.
Broadway veteran Jeff Conaway slipped into a drug-induced coma on May 11th and passed away Friday morning after his family decided to take him off of life-support. He was 60 years old.
