The critically-acclaimed concert pianist Christopher Johnson will make a rare New Jersey appearance when he performs at the Bickford Theatre on Sunday, May 6, with a program which features the New Jersey premiere of his new composition "Rhapsody on America the Beautiful." The program also includes well-known works by Frederic Chopin, Scott Joplin, Edward McDowell, and the solo-piano version of "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin.

Jason Tramm and the Morris Choral Society welcome acclaimed pianist Michael Fennelly who will perform Beethoven's exquisite 'Choral Fantasy, Op. 80' this Saturday May 20th at the Dorothy Young Concert Hall at Drew University. Mr. Fennelly will perform the famed concerto which Beethoven himself premiered in 1808 in in lieu of Italian pianist Cristiana Pegoraro, who is indisposed.

Bethel Woods Concert Announces Return of Bradstan Cabaret Series and PLAY: The Classics


Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue - the indoor Event Gallery. This summer, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Ann Hampton Callaway on July 8, Mark Nadler on August 20, and Scott Samuelson and Jeanne MacDonald on September 16. Then this fall, PLAY: The Classics returns with the Manhattan Chamber Players on September 14, Borislav Strulev and Friends on September 28, and ZOFO on October 19.
