The fabulous Pete Wikul Jazz Band is performing a special fundraising holiday concert to benefit the Ridgefield Theater Barn on Saturday, December 18th at 8 pm.

The Madison Arts & Culture Alliance and the Borough of Madison will continue their concerts at the Madison Community Center located at 10 King Street in the heart of town in November. The programs feature jazz, pop and comedy, affordably priced at only $20 a ticket in advance.

Presented by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF), Soul to Soul included for the first time the participation of Oscar- and Grammy-nominated IMPACT Repertory Theatre.

The event will begin with an introduction by Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, Executive Vice President of The New York Board of Rabbis, and New York City Council Member Robert E. Cornegy, Jr., who represents the Council's 36th District spanning Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights.

???????The legendary recordings of Tony Bennett and Bill Evans will be performed by the Joel Zelnik Trio with singer Annette Sanders at the Bickford Theatre on Monday, March 27, at 8:00 p.m.  Joining pianist Joel Zelnik will be Brian Glassman on bass and David Cox on drums.

The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene is presenting a remarkable concert event celebrating the folk legend and actor Theodore Bikel in anticipation of his 90th birthday in May 2014. "Miracle of Miracles: A Chanukah Extravaganza" will fill the stage at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway, on Monday December 2 at 7:30pm with one rare musical treat after another.

The 17th year of The Elisabeth Morrow School Summer String Festival will be held from August 13-17, 2012 at The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ for children ages four to thirteen. For five days in August, over 200 young violinists, violists, cellists, harpists and bassists will rehearse and perform Bach, Holst, Handel, and Vivaldi in an intensive music training program.

As previously announced, internationally renowned singer, recording artist, and humanitarian Dionne Warwick and the legendary musical theatre performer Carol Channing will be honored, along with 16 other members of the New York cabaret and jazz community, at the 26th Annual Bistro Awards, which will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at Gotham Comedy Club, located at 208 West 23rd Street (between 7th & 8th avenues).
