The New Victory Theater has announced their 2023-24 season, featuring two world premieres and five U.S. premieres among its 11 productions of theater, circus, dance, puppetry, and music from around the globe.

The National Theatre of Scotland is set to continue its new work over the coming months, with an innovative mix of streamed theatre and digital projects, including two new productions from leading Scottish creatives Hannah Lavery and Adura Onashile, both addressing urgent contemporary and historical issues around race in Scotland today.

Award-winning Scottish theatre maker, Andy Manley, co-creator of the critically acclaimed children's work, White returns to Arts Centre Melbourne with his new hit show for young children, Stick By Me. The quirky, non-verbal show about friendship, play and the importance of treasuring little things will be performed  from 14 - 18 January, 2020 in the Playhouse Rehearsal Room.  

This spring Southbank Centre welcomes back artists and companies from the UK and around the world including Holly Blakey and Mica Levi, Iceland Dance Company and English National Ballet alongside the already announced London International Mime Festival. New performance pieces also come from FK Alexander, Lepus Productions with electronic artist James Holden, and Jannette Cheong.

This year's Dublin Theatre Festival programme reflects with many contemporary topics - but also reaches beyond, to a poetic enquiry about the times we live in. Over three weeks performances include 10 World Premieres, reimagined classic texts, inspiring international projects from Australia, Belgium Estonia, Portugal, Sweden, the UK and the USA, and an expanded season of Theatre for Children.

With Traverse Festival 2019 presenting a total of seven Traverse Theatre Company productions - more than any recent year documented - we are thrilled to look ahead to our autumn/winter season, which is similarly abundant with fresh and provocative Traverse Theatre Company new work. We have a total of three world premiere productions - The Monstrous Heart, Strange Tales, and I Can Go Anywhere - as well as a new writing showcase (First Stages Festival) and the return of our long-running flagship education project Class Act.

This Autumn, Southbank Centre showcases some of the most pioneering new artists using performance to challenge societal norms including dancer and choreographer Oona Doherty, performance artists Travis Alabanza and Nicola Gunn, and theatre makers Lisa Hammond and Rachael Spence. Alongside these artists, Southbank Centre welcomes back three important companies experimenting with form and challenging the audience experience; Reckless Sleepers, and two Southbank Centre Associate Companies - Forced Entertainment and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance. Winter sees offerings for all ages with the return of Circus 1903 with new acts for 2019 following its huge success last Christmas, the arrival of a new dynamic interpretation of Black Beauty, and a fresh show from favourites Fascinating A da.

The Traverse Theatre is excited that March-June 2019 will mark a record breaking spell of touring for the company - with five homegrown full productions touring to 15 different locations, in four continents, totaling 111 individual performances over 51 days. During that period, over one busy day - 17 April - we will have four productions playing in four different locations simultaneously.

Red Bridge Arts & Traverse Theatre Company's BLACK BEAUTY, a "five-star triumph" (The Guardian), gallops into the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts with a story of hope, friendship and courage from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, May 5, 2019, in The Wallis's Lovelace Studio Theater. Created by Andy Manley, Andy Cannon and Shona Reppe, this re-telling blends storytelling, music and puppetry, offering fun and adventure for fans of the book, the UK's classic TV show and those brand new to the tale. From the cozy horsebox they call home, Andy and Andy take the bit firmly between their teeth to weave the classic tale, as it has never been seen before. The production, which includes audience engagement, is recommended for families with kids ages 5 and older.

The Lyric Hammersmith is pleased to present the 2019 Spring season of Little Lyric especially for audiences aged between 0-11 years. This season includes new shows from some of the Lyric's favourite family theatre companies, as well as from fabulous companies working with the Lyric for the very first time, who will all be sure to delight and amaze young audiences with magical adventures and stories.

As Scotland's new writing theatre, the Traverse has been an incubator for brand new plays since it was founded in 1963, spotlighting the powerful stories, innovation and talent in Scotland, while launching the careers of many renowned writers, actors and directors. They have now revealed that their January-April 2019 season is a celebration of this - with three home-grown productions returning for a special run, before travelling worldwide.

Tobacco Factory Theatres has announced the programme for its Dec 18 - May 19 season. The new season is packed full of theatrical delights, including the second Factory Company season, featuring a brand new resident professional ensemble, and a co-commissioned piece made in Bristol and developed during an artist residency at Tobacco Factory Theatres.

Following two wins for Best Design and Best Production for Children, and five nominations including Best Director and Best New Play by the Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland, Black Beauty is a fun-filled twist on Anna Sewell's classic. With storytelling at its finest by Andy Manley and Andy Cannon and a versatile set full of surprises designed by Shona Reppe, Black Beauty canters onto the New Victory stage for its U.S. Premiere from March 16-25, 2018.

The New Victory Theater announces its 22nd season as New York's premier performing arts venue entirely devoted to kids and families. From October 13, 2017 through June 17, 2018, The New Victory Theater will feature seven American companies amongst its 15 productions from around the globe, including three world premieres and five U.S. premieres.
