Amanda Flynn is a professional actress, singer, musical theatre educator, and voice teacher. As a performer, she was an original cast member of the LA company of "Wicked" understudying the role of Glinda. She was also part of the Las Vegas company of "Mamma Mia" as an understudy for Sophie, and the Laurey understudy in the national tour of the last Broadway revival of "Oklahoma." Other credits include Dolores Fuller in "The Passion of Ed Wood," Laura Jordan in "Galactic Cigarettes Presents 'It's Your World,'" Diana Devereaux in "Of Thee I Sing" at Bard Summerscape, Betty Blake in "Will Rogers Follies" at Stage Door Theatre, Urleen in "Footloose" at Carousel Dinner Theatre, "A Christmas Carol" at The McCarter Theatre, and "Ragtime" at The Fulton Opera House. Amanda is featured on the album "I'm Ready: The Song of Rob Rokicki," available on iTunes. Amanda holds a MM in Vocal Performance with a Musical Theatre concentration as well as an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from NYU. This past Thursday at Broadway Sessions we were joined by cast members and the composer of Broadway's The Lightning Thief! We had such an incredible time with Rob Rokicki, Amanda Flynn, Sarah Beth Pfeifer, T. Shyvonne Stewart, and Izzy Figueroa. Our two Rising Stars were the amazing Torri Bouslough and Savannah Lobel. Drew Wutke was our FANTASTIC guest pianist for the evening and it was such a fun time for all involved.
