Windham Theatre Guild presents a very special fundraising production of The Sunshine Boys, for three days only, October6, 7 & 8 at the Burton Leavitt Theatre.The Sunshine Boys is Neil Simon's bittersweet comedy about two elderly vaudevillians who have a caustic relationship with each other and are coaxed out of retirement to do one more show together.

Tickets Go On Sale for THE SUBMISSION Featuring Jonathan Groff, Will Rogers, et al. Today

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) has announced that tickets will go on-sale today, August 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. for the company's first production of their 2011-2012 season: Jeff Talbott's The Submission, directed by Walter Bobbie. Performances of this funny and furiously intelligent new play begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 8, 2011 and continue through October 22, 2011. An official opening is set for September 27, 2011.
Lilly Award Names Award Winners; Honors Rogers, Chenoweth et al. 5/24

The Committee for Recognizing Women in Theater presented the first annual 'Lilly Awards' in honor of Lillian Hellman at Playwright's Horizons this evening, May 24. This year, the Lilly Awards honored 17 women theater artists who have been produced in the past year in New York City. An after party was held and the West Bank Cafe.
