I love the movie with my whole heart and I think it would make a wonderful musical.

It really would. Most of Roald Dahl's stories would make wonderful musicals.

I can see why you think that, but the problem is the action that takes place while the main character is a mouse would be tough to pull off since the small size in relation to the world around him is crucial.
