Since it looks like the Palace Theatre will undergo a massive restoration and be lifted 29 feet, what do you think will happen to AAIP? Closed, moved? What theatre could it go into?
I think they'll just move it. It's not doing portly at the box office and it doesn't seem like it is slowing down drastically.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

But if the restoration is to be completed by 2019, you have to assume they will need at least 12-24 months in order to complete it (considering they aren't starting immediately after the New Year). I could see AAIP sustaining a longer run than that and could easily be moved... but where? Assuming another Nederlander Theater would be utilized... maybe the Simon or the Lunt sometime next year?
With this added to the never ending renovation of the Marriott it will be a nightmare navigating Times Square. Hell , it is getting so bad, even the denudas and the costumed characters are scratching around for operating room. The construction of the block next to the Palace where the recently demolished wrap around billboard/De Mille theater was will really add to the fun.
Are you a happy person or a sad person? Do you get all of your doom and gloom out of your system when you post on these boards? If so, BWW provides a great service for you. But if you're this miserable in real life, you might want to see your doctor about anti-depressants. Seriously.
